We were in Florence for over a week and had three distinct tours with Lisa. Every one of them was an absolute delight--rich with historical information and insightful observations about the art and architecture we had come to see. Lisa is a knowledgeable, cheerful, energetic, patient, and thoroughly delightful guide, and I could not recommend her more highly. It was particularly rewarding to find that her artistic tastes and judgments so well corresponded with my own. (Ah! Donatello!!) She knew what works to show us (out of the overwhelming quantity of great things to see in Florence), and moreover, she knew how to introduce us to things in a clever and illuminating order. She is a gem. Anyone wanting guidance to the riches of Florence could not do better than with the guidance of Lisa Corsi.

We visited the Opera of the Duomo Museum with Lisa Corsi. This is my second tour with her. Her tours greatly enhance the Florence experience with her input providing the context to the many things we see with her. Her depth of knowledge is impressive. She points out sights and museums that most tourists completely miss.

Lisa Corsi has really enriched our recent trip to Florence. She deepened our understanding of the Art, politics and history of the times
for each period reflected in various museums, churches and chapels we visited with her.
We engaged Lisa in rich and wide ranging discussions as we, day by day, moved through the Uffizi several times and visited a number of artistically important Churches and chapels on both sides of the Arno as well as in a day trip by train to the Tuscan town of Arezzo to see Piero Della Francisca’s frescos.
Time and time again, and with great patience, wisdom and humor Lisa illuminated the paintings, the sculpture and architecture before us and explained the historical lines reaching back and forth through the Renaissance in Florence and into ancient times as well.
We stayed a month in Florence and met with Lisa a good many times for 3 hour sessions which were manageable for older travelers and got to know her well. She was always professional, warm, flexible and illuminating. Had it been a day or a month, Lisa who is a Florentine treasure herself is not to be missed.”
