Florence is my hometown and, as a local, it still never fails to surprise me.

The fascination of its multi-layered history captivates me everytime I walk through narrow medieval streets, or underneath a pergola of wisteria in one of the gardens overlooking the city. And even while wandering around a traditional open air market choosing the best artichokes for a perfect Italian meal.
